Web of Spider-man ATAs

Wizkids has been [slowly] releasing the ATAs for Web of Spider-man over the past two weeks.  While the method of release may not be preferred, the content it quite a boost for the game.  ATAs make Theme Team building even more beneficial and allow you to get a theme team that may be a few points shy of the build into a competitive force.

Now go ahead and Print and Play 'til your heart is content!  These, like all other, Print and Play items are tournament legal the day they are posted.

Wizkids slowly releasing Feats for WoS

Remember that even though the FEATS are from Web of Spider-man, FEATS are ONLY usable in casual at home and Golden Age style events.

Web of Spider Man has swung in!

Today marks the release of Marvel HeroClix: Web of Spider-man.  Last night 2 of our great local venues celebrated with midnight releases, tournaments, prizes and fun!

If you were able to attend great! If not, no worries, the regular series of events begins this week at all of the venues.  Friday Nights at The Griffon on Colfax, downtown. Sunday afternoons at BuyMeToys.com in University Commons on SR 23 and on Thursdays at Fantasy Games on 933, just north of the Toll Road (or south of Niles depending on your trip in).

The prize kits for Web of Spider Man are looking pretty interesting with 5 different LE figures and 3D versions of the webbing tokens to be used with characters that get the Webbing ability.  (You can always use Special tokens from the started to note them if you miss out though).

The Event calendar is being updated over the next few days and should be complete for September and October very soon.

WizKids/Neca has announced the August release of Marvel HeroClix: Web of Spider-Man Expansion for the Marvel HeroClix Collectible Miniatures Game.  Everyone’s favorite neighborhood wall-crawler returns in this first ever Marvel HeroClix set dedicated to Marvel’s most popular character.  The Marvel HeroClix: Web of Spider-Man Expansionincludes 64 new HeroClix figures (56 new sculpts) including characters from throughout Spider-Man’s career.

The new expansion also includes subthemes from Marvel’s key Dark Reignand Siege crossover events.  Also, once again WizKids has created a “Buy It By the Brick” promotion that provides consumers with a way to earn the exclusive Spider-Man: First Appearance HeroClix Figure that recreates the cover to Amazing Fantasy #15, the first appearance of the legendary webslinger.

Organized play kits will be available to comic book and hobby stores who order MarvelHeroClix: Web of Spider-Man from either Diamond Comic Distributors or Alliance Game Distributors.
